Essential Responsibilities
· Work from drawings, sketches, and other instructions to perform machining operations such as mill, turn, face, bore, groove, contour, dovetail, drill, tap, etc. to precise electrical and mechanical tolerances
Qualifications/Requirements
· Associate's Degree in a Machining discipline OR High School Diploma / GED with a Journeyman's card with completion of a Machining apprentice program
· Minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability, with or without accommodation, to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds
· Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
· Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts
· Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
· Ability and willingness to take a pre-employment test and submit to technical interview

· Able to work with computerized shop floor tools to include, but not limited to: vouchering systems, on-line quality programs, and payroll management tools
· Ability to work alone or as part of a team with minimal supervision
The pay for this position is $35.68. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
