We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating manual machining equipment, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of components to meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other machining equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories for each job.Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues that may affect product quality.Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.Measure and inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications.Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and timelines.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or apprenticeship is a plus.Proven experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.Experience in Tool and Die preferred but not requiredManual machining required, CNC preferred Must be able to read and interpret blueprintsMust have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safetyMaintain a clean workstation Identifies need for and performs machine repairsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and equipment.Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

1st shift only with possible overtimePay based on experience level
