**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** Candidates will assist in building metal stamping presses and metal forming automation equipment. Candidates will set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment to accomplish the required operations as defined by blueprints and work orders. They will check and maintain fluid levels and machine materials such as oil, coolant, and filters, and set up equipment and machine components to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications. This position is for the 3rd shift, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM paying $25 to $32 **Responsibilities** + Assist in building metal stamping presses and metal forming automation equipment + Set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment to accomplish operations defined by blueprints and work orders + Check and maintain fluid levels and machine materials such as oil, coolant, and filters + Set up equipment and machine components to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications **Essential Skills** + Three to five years' experience with CNC boring mills machining large castings and steel elements + Ability to read and implement metric prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) + Ability to perform mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division + Knowledge of current cutting tools and applications + Ability to create process sheets for parts + Overhead crane operation **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
