Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient in setting up and running CNC mills independently, and possess a strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with Fanuc Controls is essential as you will be expected to operate these controls efficiently with minimal training. This role requires a self-starter who can hit the ground running.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and run CNC mills independently.Utilize height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and interpret blueprints accurately.Operate machines using Fanuc Controls.Work with Haas, Kia, and Doosan brand machines.Handle 3-axis and mill turn lathes with live milling tooling and twin spindles.Manage a cell of two machines effectively.Perform setups efficiently with minimal direction.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.Proficiency in setting up and running CNC mills.Strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with Fanuc Controls.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas, Kia, and Doosan machines.Familiarity with 3-axis machines.Possession of personal tools is convenient but not mandatory.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The CNC Machine shop environment is a smaller setting with around 50 employees. The facility is climate-controlled and offers first shift hours from 7am to 3:30pm, with opportunities for overtime and Saturday shifts from 7am to noon. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes. Our culture promotes a family-like atmosphere where employees are expected to get along well, help each other, and contribute beyond their individual roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
