**Description** Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment, to produce precision metal parts. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Quality Control: Perform quality checks and inspections on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances. Tooling: Select and set up appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance logs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating various machines, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment. Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and precision in machining tasks. Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues. Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is preferred. **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
