Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC and Manual Machinist with expertise in tool making, die maintenance, and upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in progression die, CAD, AutoCAD, and programming.
ResponsibilitiesPerform tool making and die maintenance and upkeep.Operate and maintain CNC and manual machines including lathes and grinders.Use CAD and programming tools for machining operations.Conduct die repair and tool and die maintenance.Utilize micrometers and calipers for precision measurements.Essential SkillsExperience with manual and CNC machines.Proficiency in tool and die maintenance.Knowledge of CAD and programming tools.Experience with die repair.Ability to use micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with mills, lathes, and tool equipment.Surface grinding experience.Preferred experience in tool and die making.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally, you may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles, and may work with explosive materials. All necessary PPE is provided for handling chemicals or explosive materials. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
