**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** You will be responsible for operating your own machine and sometimes multiple CNC machines, depending on your skill level. Your department placement will be based on the interview process and where you fit best, determining the specific machine you will operate (e.g., Davenport, Mazak, Haas). You are expected to set up, tear down, and perform tool changes on the machine. More skilled machinists will have the ability to program, edit, and input commands into the CNC machine. Training is provided, and no one is expected to perform tasks beyond their capabilities on day one. There are opportunities to train others and develop into a supervisory role. **Responsibilities** + Operate own CNC machine and sometimes multiple CNC machines. + Set up, tear down, and perform tool changes on the machine. + Program, edit, and input commands into CNC machines (for more skilled machinists). + Train and develop other machinists. + Troubleshoot machine issues. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read gauges. + Set up machine, perform tool changes, and tear downs. + Troubleshoot machine issues. + Must have a diploma. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Davenport, Haas, Mazak, mills, and lathes is a plus. + 1-3 years of CNC machining experience for B Machinists. + 4+ years of CNC machining experience for A Machinists. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work-life balance and competitive benefits. Once trained, you will operate machines independently within a team setting. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Otsego, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $43804.80 - $62566.40 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
