**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** As a Machinist, you will be responsible for performing shop math calculations, including geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations, as well as metric conversions. You will need to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and g-code, with experience in conversational controls being a plus. Your role will involve calculating feeds and speeds and having a strong understanding of geometric tolerancing. **Responsibilities** + Perform shop math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations. + Perform metric conversions. + Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and g-code. + Calculate feeds and speeds. + Understand geometric tolerancing. + Set up and operate machining equipment, including vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, boring bars, and mills. + Edit g-code at the machine. + Act as a process engineer/programmer due to the absence of an in-house programmer. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of setup machining experience (VTL experience is a plus). + 3+ years of experience with blueprints and understanding of GD&T. + Proficiency in g-code and m-code programming. + Experience with vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, and vertical mills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Rigging with overhead crane experience is a plus. + A good attitude and willingness to learn. **Why Work Here?** We offer flexible start times for 1st and 2nd shifts and can accommodate four 10-hour shifts on 2nd and 3rd shifts. We can accommodate four 10-hour shifts on the 2nd shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $75000.00/yr. United Healthcare Insurance begins after 30 days of employment.
