**CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the set-up and operation of G&L Mill, VTL, and Tri-Tool as specified by job specifications. Daily tasks include equipment start-up, clean-up, weekly maintenance, and routine preventative maintenance. You will regularly use manual tools such as Dial Calipers, Dial indicators, and OD/ID Mics to verify dimensions. Additionally, you will identify and number materials for fabrication and operate other computer numeric controlled machinery as needed to meet production demands. Occasional welding may also be required. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate G&L Mill, VTL, and Tri-Tool according to job specifications. + Perform daily equipment start-up and clean-up of equipment. + Conduct weekly maintenance and routine preventative maintenance. + Regularly use manual tools such as Dial Calipers, Dial indicators, and OD/ID Mics to verify dimensions. + Identify and number materials for fabrication and materials to be sent out for further processing. + Operate other computer numeric controlled machinery as needed to meet production demands. + Occasional welding as required. + Experience with CNC and manual machining. + Ability to set up and run multiple machines. + Experience with Fanuc Control. + Experience in setting up and running big part machines (Crane Industry) with parts up to 84" diameter and up to 37' length. + 3-axis editing skills. + Comfortable working with lathes and milling machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + VTL experience and drill press knowledge. + 5 years of machining experience required. + Programming knowledge preferred. + Experience with Giddings & Lewis CNC 800 Control. + Fork-lift experience required. + Good knowledge of and experience working with steel. + Layout and light welding experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and BOMs. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to working safely. **Why Work Here?** Becoming part of our team means joining an employee-owned company with a rich history. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing environment and safety gear must be worn as required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
