**Job Title: Machinist**
**Job Description**
This premier Maine-based company is seeking 2 talented Machinists to join their growing team. In this role, you will operate various CNCs and manual machining equipment. You will be responsible for the complete setup and operation of the mill, and you will assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be working with high-quality, expensive parts. You will also stock your station, remain on task, follow SOPs, and read blueprints.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate various CNCs and manual machining equipment.
+ Complete setup and operation of the mill.
+ Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts.
+ Ensure attention to detail with high-quality, expensive parts.
+ Stock your station and remain on task.
+ Follow SOPs and read blueprints.
**Essential Skills**
+ Lean Manufacturing Experience
+ Previous Manual Machining Experience
+ Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices
+ Ability to operate multiple-axis milling machines
+ Ability to stay on task and follow SOPs
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Comfortable standing on feet for 8-10 hours

**Work Environment**
You will report to the machine shop supervisor and production manager. The work environment includes wearing steel-toed shoes and eye wear. You will be working in a smaller team within a large company. Some heavy lifting is involved, and the position is for the 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11:30 pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Biddeford, Maine.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
