**Hiring for a Machinist!** **Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr (+ shift differential)** **Location: Rochester, NY** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating both vertical and horizontal mills, as well as running lathes when necessary. You should be able to troubleshoot and maintain machinery, fit parts and hold tight tolerances, and perform manual measurements. Autonomy and meticulous record-keeping for in-process inspections are essential. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate both vertical and horizontal mills + Run lathes when not operating mills + Troubleshoot and maintain machinery + Fit parts and hold tolerance to within .001-.005” + Maintain and record in-process inspections for all jobs + Perform manual measurements + Work autonomously **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC mill and lathe operations + Proficiency in blueprint reading + Ability to work with tight tolerances + Experience with CNC programming and setup + Troubleshooting skills + Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas machines + Experience with vertical and horizontal mills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Blueprint and schematics reading + CNC programming skills (preferred) **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, as well as 10 paid holidays. We have openings on multiple shifts with potential for overtime. The 1st shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The 2nd shift is from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift differential. The 3rd shift operates from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 15% shift differential. Both 2nd and 3rd shifts will train on the day shift for 2-6 weeks, depending on experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
