Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machinists for projects located in and around the Portland, OR area. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $35-44/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

Operate large manual machine tools including lathes (36" to 48" swing), mills, & drill pressesPerform precision machining on materials such as mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, & bronzeMaintain tolerances of .001 or less to ensure high-quality machiningSet up machines, select tools, & determine cutting speeds or feedsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications using precision measuring toolsPerform routine maintenance & cleaning of machine toolsOther tasks as assigned Requirements 5+ Years of Experience Operating Large Manual MachinesExpertise in machining mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, & bronzeProficiency in precision machining techniques Willingness to work a swing shiftAbility to read blueprintsMust standard personal machinist tools Company Details
