**Now Hiring Machinist! (Direct Hire)** **2nd shift: 4pm-2am (M-Th)** **$26-27hr** **Job Description** The Master Machinist is responsible for machining all pump components in a production environment. Knowledge of all pump types is critical. The machinist works under limited supervision to set-up and operate machine tools without assistance while following company policy and work instructions. This position requires the ability to set-up and operate horizontal CNC machining centers, manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and the water jet. Other essential functions include operating CNC lathes and balance machines to produce impellers and shafts for production to meet on-time delivery demands. **Responsibilities** + Deburr and balance impellers to part print by work instruction. + Operate and set-up all necessary machine tools required to produce parts to print specifications such as CNC lathes and horizontal machining centers, manual lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and water jet operations. + Build tooling and fixturing for manual set-ups. + Perform quality checks per work instruction. + Maintain production flow of impellers to meet on-time delivery for the Vertical and Horizontal value streams. + Take corrective action and move from machining to balancing as necessary. + Follow quality procedures according to ISO 9001. + Clean and organize work areas (5S Standards). + Perform preventive maintenance outlined by PM sheets from the Maintenance department. + Work overtime when assigned by the department Supervisor. + Assist other team members as directed, including training and assisting less experienced coworkers. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to set-up and operate horizontal CNC machining centers, manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and the water jet. + Troubleshooting skills. + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience with lathe operations. + Experience with grinders and drill presses. + Knowledge of water jet operations. **_If interested in this opportunity please contact Chris Washington at Aerotek (864) 607-9059 or email resume to cwashington @_** **_aerotek.com_** **_for faster response_** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr. • Full Medical, Dental and Vision benefits • Company paid Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Company Paid Life Insurance • 6% 401K or Roth Company Match with immediate vesting. • Company paid Retirement Security Contributions following 1 year of employment. • Annual bonus program. • Competitive Paid Time Off. • Half Days every Friday. • 12 company paid holidays per year. • Tuition reimbursement/educational assistance. • Quarterly gym reimbursement. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Easley,SC. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Mar 22, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
