Machinist Apprentice

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated machinist apprentice to join our maintenance team. Your responsibilities will include:

Machining parts using manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses.Performing welding using torch, MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.Fabricating parts and reading blueprints.Repairing machines on the floor and troubleshooting conveyors, heaters, extruders, mixers, rollers, mixing processes, and boxing machines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00/yr.

1. pay is good for the area
2. $2000 sign on bonus paid out over 4 months ($500/month)
3. $250 attendance bonus paid out every month for no missed work
4. benefits including full medical, dental, vision, 401k etc.
5. 90 hours of PTO to start, year 3 increases to 120 hours
6. Give out turkeys/hams for thanksgiving
7. Holiday party for employees and signifcant others at christmas with a $300 year end bonus
8. relaxed environment
9. provided uniforms after 90 days
10. NOT automotive, NOT union
11. anniversary awards for service (pure gold awards handed out by president/ceo)
