Machinist - First Shift
Job Description First Shift - 6:00 2:30 (5 days a week), but could require 6:00-4:30 Operate CNC and manual machines to produce aerospace components according to engineering specifications and blueprints. Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment for production runs. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Skills and Requirements 1-5(+) years experience in a CNC manufacturing facility  CNC Mill and/or Lathe experience  Cutting tool knowledge  Speeds and feeds knowledge  Material knowledge  CNC Operator o Proficiency in Fanuc NC control use  CNC Setup technician o Use of edge finders, indicators (standard & coaxial)  Blueprint reading a must  Proficiency with Geometric dimensioning and tolerance  Willing to take candidates who have less experience but have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn More experience preferred w/ troubleshooting knowledge  Aerospace industry experience a plus  Measuring equipment knowledge a must (calipers, micrometers, height gage, CMM a plus) Multi-tasking turn-mill equipment and/or 5 axis experience a plus and preferred null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
