Estimated base pay

Level 1: $21.00 - 26.25 (midpoint) - 31.50 USD Hourly

Level 2: $24.11 - 30.14 (midpoint) - 36.17 USD Hourly

All members included in cash bonus opportunity

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Machinist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Machinist reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a limited number of machine types in an industrial setting. The position works under a high level of supervision, limited troubleshooting, decision-making and problem solving. There is limited contact with external suppliers or customers.

This is a second shift role, Monday-Thursday, typically starting around 2pm

What You Will Be Doing 

(Level 1)- Assist in the set up, and operate machines with little or no supervision and perform required process checks or inspections per the process documentation

(level 2) Sets up and operates machines with little or no supervision and performs required process checks or inspections per the process documentation.

Complete paperwork while adhering to record retention requirements.

Document nonconforming material according to procedures, participate in activities to implement root cause and corrective actions identified.

Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions and blueprints and download programs.

Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly operate machines and inspect machined parts.

Clean and maintain measuring instruments and test equipment and inspect parts for cleanliness (e.g., routed and deburring operations). Operate precision inspection equipment and perform first piece check out when applicable to the job

What We Are Looking For 

Level 1:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Less that 2 years related work experience or applicable degree from a trade school.

Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.

  Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.

May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.

Level 2

High School Diploma or equivalent required

2-5 years experience required

Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.

  Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.

May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
