Summary: Seeking a Machinist III with expertise in operating and maintaining machine tool equipment, programming machines, and ensuring quality standards.

Requirements:

HS Diploma, preferably from a technical HS 4-6 years of related experience Knowledge of ISO process controls Excellent computer skills in a Windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Use of rubber gloves and safety glasses when working with chemicals or machinery

Preferred Skills:

Strong background in math and blueprint interpretation

Job Responsibilities:

Set-up and operate bench and machine tool equipment such as knee mill and engine lathe Perform milling operations, turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and grinding to fabricate metal parts Design and build tools and jigs Perform preventive maintenance on all machines Conduct tramming operations Handle unusual set-ups with close tolerances and critical interrelated dimensions Work from sketches, preliminary drawings, blueprints or verbal directions from engineers Plan and layout assignments involving various machine and hand operations Provide feedback on engineering drawings to design and quality engineering teams Ensure quality requirements are met through peer inspections Train other employees as needed Meet delivery schedules
