Made Possible.** **Overall Job Summary:** Responsible for cost effectively producing parts of average to above average complexity and tolerances by the safety methods possible. This role requires a toolmaker mindset, including the ability to troubleshoot, set up, and adjust machines rather than simply operating them. Other responsibilities include fostering teamwork, promoting safety for zero accidents, ensuring on time deliveries & quality, and contributing to cost improvements. Essential Functions: + Read specific job plans accurately, and identify appropriate raw materials for the project + Operate appropriate machinery for manufacturer/processing of raw material into finished product + Inspection/verification of appropriate fit and finish for each part during the fabrication process **Specific Job Responsibilities:** + Read specific job plans accurately, and identify appropriate raw materials for the project + Responsible to cost effectively operate manual mills, lathes and CNC machines to machine a variety of close tolerance parts. + Inspection/verification of appropriate fit and finish for each part during the fabrication process + Must be able to set up and operate equipment with a minimal amount of direction. **Qualifications:** + Machine Technology Degree (preferred) + Strong troubleshooting skills to adjust and optimize machines processes. + CNC programming experience (preferred) + Experience with CAD software and understanding of how it applies to machining (preferred) **_Education/Experience_** + Machine Technology degree **_Desired Skills and Characteristics_** + Able to read blueprints, setup and run parts + Able to work overtime **Pay Range:** **$59,850.00** - **$74,760.00** **Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
