Job Title: Machinist
Job Description

As a Machinist in our machine shop, you will be responsible for metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and deburring parts according to blueprint specifications. Once completed, the parts will undergo final quality inspection. This role involves staging parts using a forklift and pallet jack, operating CNC machines, deburring parts, and assisting with various tasks around the machine shop.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with operations.Set up and operate CNC machines, transport material, operate wash tanks, and move material using a forklift.Occasionally work overtime to support manufacturing requirements.Troubleshoot and solve everyday problems.Flexibly move from one machine to another as needed.Essential Skills1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience running a machine in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience performing quality inspection on finished parts.Sit down forklift experience.Deburring experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The manufacturing environment is split into half assembly and half machine shop. It is temperature-controlled throughout with a relaxed dress code allowing sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, work pants, and jeans (leggings and sweatpants are not permitted). The facility is very clean with minimal debris, as safety is a top priority. Required PPE includes steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses, which are provided by the company. Shift options include 1st shift (7AM-3PM M-F), 2nd shift (3PM-11PM M-F), and 3rd shift (11PM-7AM Sun-Thu), with alternative work schedules available on weekends.
