**Hiring CNC Machinist (Lathe Lead) in Woodinville, WA!**
**Job Description**
The Machinist sets up and operates CNC operated lathes to manufacture metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions. The Machinist interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup. This role involves using a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments, making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds. Additionally, the Machinist fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines the materials, parts, and equipment required. Some machines may be numerically controlled, and the Machinist may monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC operated lathes to manufacture metal parts to precise tolerances.
+ Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
+ Determine the sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup.
+ Use a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
+ Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
+ Fit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment.
+ Determine materials, parts, and equipment required.
+ Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with CNC operated lathes.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
+ Proficient in using machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
+ Knowledge of standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
+ Experience in fitting and assembling precision parts into mechanical equipment.
+ Familiarity with statistical process control procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with CNC Turnkey and multiprogram machining.
+ Experience in metalworking, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and repair.
+ Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, G codes, and M codes.
+ Vocational school education in machining or related fields.
+ Experience in the aerospace industry.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
