Volt is immediately hiring for Entry Level Machine Operators in Garden Grove.

As a Machine Operator you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWork safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.\r\n\tSafely Load and unload product into a machine…\r\n\tInterpret and follow work orders/instructions\r\n\tMaintain traceability (Lot Numbers/Steel Dates\r\n\tProtect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances.\r\n\tPerform and record in process inspection actions such as measuring and validating part features in light of customer supplied dimensional tolerances and specifications.\r\n\tPerform first article and buyoff\r\n\tMeets production demands\r\n\tInteract with production tracking tools such as E2 to charge time to job orders and claim parts at the end of the shift.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
This is a full time opportunity.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe ability to read and write English \r\n\tAn introductory competence in shop math such as working with fractions and decimals.\r\n\t A basic knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.\r\n\tBasic print reading\r\n\tA basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical application regarding nuts and bolts.\r\n\tA basic knowledge of part holding methods and procedures.\r\n\tThe ability to interact with computers and CNC controls at a basic level.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
\r\n\r\nShift: 2nd- 2:30pm-11:00pm + OT Monday through Friday and Saturday as needed.
\r\n\r\nMust have some experience in either:
\r\n\r\n(Trim Operator, Point Operator, Hot Press Operator, Traubs Operator)
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
