As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise in machining processes and attention to detail will ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards. You will work closely with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production goals.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, contributing to the success of our business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nOperate and maintain various machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, and grinders.\nRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.\nSet up and adjust machines to ensure proper operation and accuracy.\nMonitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.\nInspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.\nCollaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production goals.\nFollow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.\n\n

\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.\nGood problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.\n\n

\n\n1 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D\nTechnical degree or certification in machining or a related field.\nExperience with CNC machining.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\n\n
