Machinist Level 2
As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our machining processes in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will operate and maintain various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and the overall growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes by operating machines, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and maintain machines to produce parts and components
• Conduct inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining machines and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications and instructions

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field
• Experience with CNC machines and programming
• Knowledge of machining processes and materials
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
