As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining processes and equipment will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and safe operations while maintaining quality standards. You will report directly to the area Supervisor and Work Flow Specialist.  You'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location training on the day shift and eventually moving to the second shift.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by: - Operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications - Performing quality checks to ensure parts meet or exceed quality standards - Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues to minimize downtime - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nOperating and maintaining machining equipment.\nPerforming quality checks on parts.\nTroubleshooting and resolving machining issues.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules.\nAble to run precision parts to blueprint specifications.\nAble to run multiple machines simultaneously.\nAble to interpret blueprints and work instructions.\nFamiliar with lathe tooling.\nUnderstands CNC Lathe program codes.\nMinimum 3 years CNC Lathe experience\nKnows how to use precision measuring equipment and how to inspect parts.\nDemonstrates the 8 Honeywell Behaviors on a daily basis.\nFollows all HS&E safety Guidelines and procedures.\n\n U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n

• 5+ years of experience as a machinist or similar role

\n

• Significant experience running CNC lathes

\n

•  Excellent knowledge of machining processes and equipment

\n

• Strong problem-solving skills

\n

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

\n
