As a Machinist - Level 4 at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our machining processes to ensure the production of high-quality parts. You will operate and set up various machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate precision components. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and the overall growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our machining processes by operating and setting up machines, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and conducting quality inspections.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
\nConduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
\nTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production flow
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency

\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role\nProficiency in operating and setting up machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders\nStrong knowledge of machining processes and techniques\nAbility to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications\nAttention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections\n\nWE VALUE
