Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Manual Machinist for 1st & 2nd shift with at least 3 years’ experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturer located in Farmingdale, NY.

Pay: $24/hour to $30/hour depending on level of experience

Responsibilities Set up and operate machines to fabricate a high volume of parts Review blueprints to accurately fabricate parts to the specified dimensions Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met Manufacture parts to meet production deadlines
Requirements 3+ years relevant work experience. In lieu of experience, will consider entry level candidates who demonstrate interest and aptitude to learn the Machinist trade with preference give to those with a relevant technical Associate degree or Machining certificate to start at an entry level. High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience operating lathe, milling, grinding and / or gear cutting manual machines Must be mechanically inclined. Experience with hand/power tools a plus
