Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Machinist for 3rd shift to operate CNC machines and contribute to lean initiatives.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience with lathes, mills, Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas machines. Experience with 5-axis and turret operations. Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions. Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics including trigonometry.

Preferred Skills:

Aerospace experience.

Responsibilities:

Set up and run production machines; perform operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring. Make necessary machine adjustments; report improper functioning for correction. Perform tapping, spot-facing, chamfering to close tolerances. Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures; adjust feeds and speeds for quality machining. Inspect parts using measuring instruments; maintain equipment cleanliness and reliability. Participate in lean initiatives; apply lean concepts in work area.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
