**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce parts, including small aerospace components and clamps for other CNC machines. This position requires attention to detail and proficiency in operating CNC equipment, particularly mill and lathe machines. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC equipment in a production facility, specifically mill and/or lathe machines. + Work with cutting tools such as drills, end mills, inserts for lathes, and taps. + Utilize precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and small hole gages. + Read and interpret blueprints for machining operations. + Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. + Set up and change over machines for different production runs. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + Technical degree in an area of specialty or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. + Experience operating CNC equipment in a production facility, particularly mill and/or lathe machines. + Knowledge of cutting tools and precision measuring tools. + Strong attention to detail. + Proficiency in basic math and use of a calculator. + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. + Capability to stand for long periods of time. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. + Prior experience in a warehouse environment. + Manufacturing knowledge. **Why Work Here?** You will have the opportunity to work with high-level clients in a dynamic and supportive environment, ensuring high-quality production and developing your skills further. **Work Environment** This position requires physical activity including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. The work involves close visual acuity and is subject to noise, hazards, and oils. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
