Summary: Seeking a Magnetics Power Engineer to develop and manage energy storage systems, converters, and power electronics for grid integration.

Job Requirements:

Experience with 1 MW flywheel energy storage systems

Expertise in bi-directional converters for energy storage and fuel cell operations

Knowledge of DC bus systems

Understanding of power electronics for grid integration and harmonic control

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with magnetic bearing controllers

Experience with turbines for waste heat recovery

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement bi-directional converters for energy storage to flywheel systems

Develop power electronics to ensure proper harmonic content on the grid

Manage magnetic bearing controllers for turbines

Oversee filtering and control of harmonics for fuel cell grid connections

Pay Details: $63.00 to $84.00 per hour
