Mail Room Prep Associate
Work Environment: + Newly renovated, sanitized mailroom + Compliance with CDC guidelines + Temperature checks at the entrance + Future mask requirements and social distancing measures + Safe and supportive work environment Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible by one hour) + 30-minute unpaid lunch break + Two 15-minute paid breaks (AM and PM) Overtime: Possible, especially towards the end of the month Responsibilities: + Utilize Excel for formatted reports and data entry + Track and report incoming mail, scan numbers, and note daily box count + Update logs daily (final mods, bad 4506T's) + Oversee Q.C. process of all incoming mail + Sort incoming mail (FedEx) and scan tracking numbers into Excel + Assist with USPS pickup and Iron Mountain shred + Research missing documents + Provide training as needed + Print various separator sheets as required + Perform minor maintenance on office/mailroom equipment + Move or lift boxes or containers of documents for sorting, scanning, preparation, and processing + Communicate daily with the Manager as needed + Handle confidential financial data with strict adherence to confidentiality policies and procedures + Perform other related duties as assigned Skills: + Must Haves: + Reliability and good attendance record (reference required) + Professional communication + Consistent working experience + Basic PC skills (light data entry) + Daily use of Excel (creating folders and shortcuts) + Nice to Haves: + Previous mailroom experience + Mortgage industry experience, especially with mortgage document processing + Strong computer skills + Willingness to be trained on scanning Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
