ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nHandle all materials received in the Mail Center (receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.).\nDeliver, pickup, and transport materials within, between, to, and from various departments.\nInspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.\nPickup outbound boxes and packages from internal customer locations.\nAbility to sort items into categories according to established methods.\nPrepare items for processing, shipment or transportation.\nEnter activity data in logs, software, maintain records.\nEnsure all safety procedures are followed at all times.\nPrepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment (such as FedEx).\nAbility to cross train on other roles within department; responsible for carrying out other duties as appropriate due to staff absences or at the discretion of management.\nProvide leadership to a team, less than 10 employees.\nMonitor and maintain supply inventory.\nComplete daily and monthly reports.\nOther duties as assigned by manager.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n2 years or more of experience in an office environment.\n2-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nStrong work ethic; diplomatic; team and service oriented; builds strong working relationships.\nExhibits superior verbal communication and phone skills.\nExhibits exceptional customer service skills.\nConsistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.\nProven ability to remain calm under pressure; resilient.\nSound judgment and problem-solving ability.\nAble to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.\nDemonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.\nAssertive and resourceful; motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative without direction.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\n
