**Job Description Summary**
Organizes, oversees, and participates in the mailroom operations of shipping and receiving Establishes schedules, delivery and pickup routines, and procedures for allocating postage and other costs to departments. Trains, prioritizes, and provides work direction to staff.
**Job Description**
+ Pay: $32.50
+ Coordinates and performs mail room activities including the delivery, sorting, routing and distribution of mail to departments and staff. Assigns and maintains lockers and established delivery and collection routes/ locations.
+ Assures timely and appropriate distribution of a variety of confidential and private materials through mail, overnight delivery services, and inter-office transfers.
+ Organizes and prepares all outbound shipping related duties. Coordinates and oversees bulk mailings.
+ Maintains adequate levels of mailroom materials, supplies, and equipment to assure continuous operations.
+ Responds to inquiries and researches and resolves problems related to shipping and receiving; serves as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of day- to-day administrative and operational issues.
+ Trains and assigns work to Mail Services Technicians and other who may be assigned to this function on an intermittent basis.
+ Driving required to perform job duties.
+ Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
+ Ensures that all vehicle and driving policies are followed.
+ Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and within deadlines.
+ Assess incoming requests selecting the best equipment and resources for successful completion.
+ Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
+ Check for any first overnight packages.
+ Ensures the Center is clean and organized before opening door at 8:00 am. Ensuring that the clean desk policy is in place.
+ Communicate to customers timeline to resolve any open issues. Oversee any special off-site request.
+ Assist with Finance incoming check processes, documentation, and deposit to lock boxes.
+ Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $17.75 - $32.50
