Mail Shipping Specialist

Be a part of helping others to Live Well! **Job Description** **POSITION SUMMARY:** This position provides operational support in one or all of the following areas: Operates high volume print production equipment as well as document creation and editing tools. Prepares and ships weekly store transfers containing variable data specific to each location. Assists in the shipping and receiving of product and supplies. Sorts, distributes and handles incoming and outgoing mail. Provides maintenance and/or repair of MFD equipment. May performs various building support functions. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Distribute all incoming and internal mail and packages to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required ensuring accurate and timely delivery. + Utilize tracking and accountability program to maintain accurate delivery history. + Receive in palletized material ensuring all items have arrived according to customer requests and packing slips. + Prepare and ship store closing product transfer and return shipping labels. + Perform all duties related to the shipping of daily mail and materials. + Maintain daily postage reports for monthly financial reporting. + Ensure Multi-Function Devices are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections. + Clear paper jams, clean device and changes toner; Inform technicians of specific problems. + Respond to and coordinate all service calls on equipment required by end users. + Perform common repair and service on Multi-Function Devices. + Schedule service with technician, track the progress of the call and follow up with end users upon call completion. + Use all copier equipment, shipping systems, fax machines, postage meter and some PC. + Assist with document scanning and digital filing duties, which may include 'purging' and archiving old documents. + Additional duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + This job has no supervisory responsibilities. **PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. + Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate. _* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions._ **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Minimum high school diploma or GED required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required. + 1+ years of previous office service or print production experience preferred + High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications + Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) + Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts + Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients + Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. + Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management + Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos + Ability to work overtime as necessary GNC Holdings, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer **Benefit Offerings** Benefit Offerings: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Paid Company Life Insurance, 401K program with company match, 30% employee merchandise discount on GNC products & 20% employee discount on 3rd party products, Monthly Free Product Offers, and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
