We are looking to hire a Mail Sorter for our client in the Swedesboro, NJ area. As a Mail Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of mail and packages. Your responsibilities will involve repetitive tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking throughout your shift to sort mail, scan packages, and maintain the smooth flow of operations.

The Day-to-Day:

Sorting mail by hand, by postage type, or geographicallyOpening and labeling mail containers, and correctly labeling and categorizing mail and packagesLoading and unloading mail trucks, and sometimes lifting containers of mail onto equipmentInspecting mail for damage or suspicious content, and reviewing addresses, dates, barcodes, and other postage information

Qualifications:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Able to stand for long periods of timePrevious experience as a mail sorter is a plusDemonstrated diligence and reliability in work performance.

Pay Rate/Schedule:

$17.50 - $18.50Multiple Shifts available (AM Shifts - MID Shifts - PM Shifts)
