We are seeking a Mailroom Associate to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York city. Office Services is an internal function providing global operations and business services across Brookfield Asset Management business segments delivered through a shared-service, client-focused model. The Mailroom Associate is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mailroom. The Mailroom Associate works closely with the Mailroom Manager, Receptionist, and the Hospitality Associate. Role & Responsibilities: + Maintain and run large print jobs on behalf of clients as requested + Oversee the pickup all inter-office envelopes from all floors, deliver all early morning inter-office mail + Manage, sort, and deliver all mail and create distribution process + Maintain postage and print machines + Ensure all outgoing certified mail is logged in and accounted for + Keep track of the stock inventory in common areas and storage rooms and restock/report on monthly basis + Perform various misc. Office Services requests and small repairs (e.g., jammed drawer, key core replacement, design samples disposal, minor internal office moves assistance) + Maintain the mailroom area, keeping it neat and organized Your Qualifications: + Must be proactive, detailed oriented, able to multitask and flexible + Good communication skills + Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted + Maintain relationship with various internal/external personnel to maximize job efficiency + Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, and bend + Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that allows for collaboration with customers, clients, co-workers, and management + College degree preferred Your Career @ Brookfield Properties: At Brookfield Properties, your career progression is important to us.
