Mailroom Associate
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Mailroom Associate in Columbus, Ohio. This role is placed within the industry and will require the associate to efficiently manage invoices and related mailroom tasks. Responsibilities • Organize utility bills prior to scanning using multiple separator sheets. • Manually review utility invoices to ensure they adhere to both customer and department procedures. • Identify and separate bills that do not meet standard procedures, attaching a standard reject form for review by the lead. • Maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced mailroom production line environment. • Show initiative by identifying problems and proposing possible solutions to lead or supervisor. • Perform minor troubleshooting tasks on the mail opening machine. • Maintain the work area to ensure a detail oriented and neat appearance at all times. • Work overtime as required to ensure all accounts are completed in a timely manner. • Carry out other duties as needed or assigned. • Regularly lift mail trays and letter debris up to a certain weight and perform rapid repetitive hand/arm movements while opening/sorting mail. • Exhibit good organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. • Demonstrate self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
