Position Overview:

The Mail Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of incoming mail. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable performing repetitive tasks and can work collaboratively with another Clerk.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive incoming mail daily around lunchtime.Open, sort, badge, and scan mail to facilitate payroll team processing.Label envelopes and match checks to labels, then seal envelopes.Perform repetitive tasks consistently and accurately.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assist with keying and data entry tasks once proficiency in mail processing is demonstrated.Support in tracking down garnishment documents and complete the necessary information for garnishments.

Qualifications:

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work well in a team setting.Comfort with performing repetitive and monotonous tasks.The Mail Clerk position offers a structured environment with opportunities for additional responsibilities upon proven performance in mail processing.

High School Diploma requiredData entry/keying experience required Able to work independently Possess a strong attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
