Description The mailroom clerk will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and delivering incoming mail for one of our premiere clients. Other duties may include contacting delivery services to send important letters or parcels. Key Duties and Responsibilities: + Meet daily deadlines for incoming and outgoing mail, such as managing incoming mail to the correct recipient and arranging for outgoing mail to be posted. + Handle both internal and external mail pursuant to applicable regulations. + Ensure the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers. + Maintain files on postage, registered mail, express mail, and packages. + Use mail handling machines to time stamp, open, read, sort, and route incoming mail; and address, seal, stamp, fold, stuff, and affix postage to outgoing mail or packages. + Maintain professional contact with courier services to ensure smooth operation in mailing procedures and package deliveries Requirements Skills/Qualifications: + High school diploma or its equivalent + Exceptional attention to detail is paramount + Proven experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Excellent organization and prioritization skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility required This position will begin as a contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and business needs.
