This position is a 10 hr production operator rotating 10 hr shifts/4 days per week. Primary Responsibilities are as follows: Adjusts weights; trouble shoots other problems as necessary. Ensures that all required paperwork is complete and accurate. Ensures proper start-up at first of shift and after breaks and proper shutdown at shift end. Inspects machine for proper assembly, proper placement of safety guards, cleanliness, foreign objects, worn or damaged parts, and loose bolts or nuts prior to start of shift. Sets-up machine quickly to ensure product will be ready to go at line start-up. Enter weights into the computer and monitor weights throughout the shift. Ensures that product being run is Code 10. Calculates yield and notifies Team Leader of any unfavorable reports. Avoid line downtime and take appropriate action to avoid jams/downtime. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Understand verbal and written instructions in English. Be able to bend, push, pull and move pallets lifting up to 25# occassionally Basic computer data entry required Work overtime as needed High School Diploma/GED preferred 90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
