Job description
Infosys is seeking a Mainframe, Java, C# and Communication Protocol (TCP/IP, VTAM) support Technology Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, Design and Support (L2, L3); play an important role in support activities related to implementation, transition, warranty and documentation. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Location for this position is Richardson, TX or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in support/development, mostly home grown Middleware services
At least 4 years of experience in Mainframes (Cobol, IMS, CICS) and working on terminals and communication protocols
At least 3-4 years of experience in Java programming with ability to maintain legacy JSP pages.
At least 1-2 years of experience in C# programming with ability to support and debug code.
At least 4-5 years of experience in Asynchronous Messaging, O/S (z/OS, Unix, Linux), Metakey, Authentication & Encryption, Data Formatting (ASCII, EBCDIC), Realtime Message Tracing, Webservices and MQ
Should be a fast learner and ability to understand legacy systems which act as APIGEE services.
Excellent analytical skills in troubleshooting issues, as a middleware system there are above 100+ interfaces sending and recieving messages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
At least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Experience in Telecommunication domain is a plus
Analytical and problem solving skills, troubleshooting abilities
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
