**Your role and responsibilities**
As the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform Architect, you will oversee the maintenance, modernization, and transformation of a legacy mainframe-based IAM tool. This role requires deep technical expertise, innovative problem-solving skills, and a strategic mindset to manage and evolve the platform into a more modern solution that aligns with business goals. You will:
1. Lead the maintenance and enhancement of the existing IAM platform, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability.
2. Architect and implement strategies to modernize the platform, integrating modern technologies and methodologies while preserving critical legacy capabilities.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the IAM team, fostering knowledge sharing and growth.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and development, to align IAM strategies with organizational objectives.
5. Drive automation of IAM processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies, particularly in identity security and access management.
7. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

**Preferred technical and professional experience**
· Experience working in Agile environments.
· Strong knowledge of access management frameworks and best practices.
· Proven ability to modernize legacy platforms with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
