Minimum experience and education: Candidates with a BS degree must have the minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience specific to the job description.
If a candidate has a Master’s degree, they still need a minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience but only nine years or 108 months of experience specific to the job. The other work experience to meet the 132 months does not have to be IT related.
Work experience while in college can be counted toward the overall years.
If no degree, work experience may be substituted.
Background clearance: All candidates selected will have to go through a Federal government background check prior to being able to start. Generally, the background process takes between 3,4 or 5 weeks. The time is dependent on how quickly the candidate is able to complete the paperwork.

· Extensive knowledge in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration deployment, documentation and maintenance of batch and online applications on mainframe systems using COBOL, DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, Endevor, Rexx, Ezytrieve, SOA web services, MQ Series, VSAM, IBM Rational Application Developer for zOS, IBM Data Studio, Core Java, HP ALM, IBM Debug, Stored Procedures, BMC, Omegamon, Spufi, QMF, Intertest, Xpeditor.
· Experience working in the domain of financial and banking applications. Extensive hands-on experience on IBM Mainframe Application programming.
· Excellent working knowledge in Core Application design, Development, Testing and Production support. Developed complex programs, which deal with DB2 and MQ's. Experience working on developing DB2 Stored Procedures, online CICS tools, SOLA (Service Oriented Legacy Architecture) templates.
· Experience working on the project built using the Agile Methodology. Involved in the estimate planning, design discussions and meetings for the project.
· Project development and delivery of various sizes, performance tuning, production support, trouble shooting.
· Extensive work experience developing multi-tier SOA web services and applications for UI including SOAP, WSDL, XML.
· Perform coding, quality analysis, Unit testing, system testing and intersystem testing.
· Experience in developing complex DB2 applications for high volume financial transaction management system. Good understanding of XML methodologies (XML, XSL, XSD) including SOA Web Services and SOAP.
