Client is looking for a Mainframe Developer with 3-5 years of development experience.

In this role, the candidate would be responsible to perform analysis of technical and business processes; build and manage code using standard defined specifications; conduct unit testing and manage training and deployment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Must have good Cobol, JCL,VSAM and DB2 skills.
Knowledge on CICS.
Must have Ratabase experience
Self motivated with an ability to work in cross platform technologies and to work on more than one project at a time.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Must have: Cobol, JCL, VSAM, Ratabase and DB2 skills
Exposure to Assembler technology.Need trained resource on Mainframes.
Codes, tests, and debugs new software / applications or makes enhancements to existing software / applications.
Offers limited application recommendations for defined business needs.
Contributes to root cause analysis based on system and incident knowledge.
Works on assignments in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.
Demonstrated understanding of programming languages.
Knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
Knowledge of client / server networks.
Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
