General Account of Position

The temporary developer will work to convert code from legacy programming languages into Database processes. 
Project Description
The goal of this project is to migrate all processes off of GAZOO to other software applications.PL/SQL , COBOL and Pro C code needs to be converted to an Oracle database application.The following functions on GAZOO must be redesigned to work in a new environment:Data Transfers, SMTP Email, Printers/Reports and Batch Jobs.Essential Responsibilities
Read, understand, and debug code.Develop procedures using Oracle PL/SQLPerform and assist in software development testing for quality assurance.Redesign batch processes to run in a new environmentOther Responsibilities

Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer science preferred.Three to five years of computer programming experience.Three to five years of Oracle PL/SQLSome working knowledge of Oracle formsWorking knowledge of programming languages (Preferable ProC and COBOL)Effective personal computer and keyboarding skills.Special Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Computer environment is Halon protectedAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslySchedule may require working until 5:15 PM or starting at 8:00 AM.
