Mainframe Developer
Position Description:
Selected candidate, is responsible for the development of security authentication support of all of the Clients intranet, internet and web service applications, certificate management, Electronic Access Request Portal (EARP), responds and maintains automated VPN requests, maintains the development of Top Secret z/OS Mainframe security screens, provides agency-wide security audit support of Users, Systems, Resources and Access to Sensitive Data. SDB also develops and maintains the z/OS Mainframe Risk Model for the agency as it pertains to resources such as FTP, TCPIP, WebSphere MQ, WAS and Unix System Services, strictly aligned with security parameter guidelines.
The following types of tasks and activities may be included:
Create new or modify existing JCL, automated batch jobs, or use z/OS mainframe tools to generate requested audit reports of users, systems, and access to Clients resources and sensitive data; maintain Clients z/OS risk model as identified by Client management, per their security parameters guidelines.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in z/OS Mainframe, TSO and ISPF utilities.10+ years of experience modifying/interpreting COBOL, REXX and CLIST.10+ years of experience in Job Control Language (JCL) and batch processing.Strong written and oral communication skills.Familiarity with CA tools such as CA-Auditor a major plus.Top Secret or RACF knowledge a major plus (Does not have to have a TS clearance).Education: BA/BS. High school diploma plus any combination of additional years of specific experience in the proposed field of expertise and years of undergraduate-level study in a related field together totaling 6 years.General Experience: Nine to ten years of experience.
