Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will analyze mainframe applications, recommend improvements, and implement changes in collaboration with Architects and Design Leads. You will play a key role in modernizing and maintaining mainframe systems while ensuring seamless deployment and integration. Responsibilities: + Analyze existing mainframe applications and document findings. + Work with Architects and Design Leads to recommend and implement application changes. + Determine data sourcing strategies for mainframe applications. + Develop, test, and deploy mainframe application updates. + Support integration and business testing. + Assist in deploying applications across environments and into production. + Communicate effectively and take full ownership of assigned work. This is a long-term contract that starts in March! Requirements Requirements: + Strong experience in mainframe application development and support. + Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS. + Experience with mainframe modernization and migration projects is a plus. + Ability to troubleshoot and optimize mainframe applications. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
