This truly is a place where we all share a challenger mindset which drives our success. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** - JOB SUMMARY Installs, repairs, and maintains mechanical systems of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and systems in an industrial environment. - WHAT YOU WILL DO Duties and Responsibilities: _(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company)_ + Performs responsibilities of boiler room. + Use work order system to learn work to be performed, parts to use, time on job, problems, etc. + Use inventory system to check inventory and obtain required parts. + Operates forklift, scissor lift and boom lift. + Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment and complete necessary paperwork. + Trouble shoot equipment by listening for unusual sounds and consulting with other employees. + Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts. + Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. + Installs, adjusts, or repairs automated machinery and equipment. + Setup and operate basic power tool. + Verifies security of all energy sources during Lock Out/Tag Out (including electrical). + Creates/drafts lockout tag out procedures for approval. + Works with metal, wood, and plastics to fabricate or construct. + Welds at basic level. + Operate pipe-threading equipment and oxyacetylene torch. + Successfully complete Class III Operations and Maintenance Worker asbestos training. + Conducts BBS observations and 6S audits. + Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly. + Performs duties in a safe manner. Abides by all established safety policies. + Performs other job-related duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** - REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: + Technical Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience or High School Diploma/GED. + Successfully complete a written job-related test. + Possess a valid PA driver's license. + Successfully complete Class III Operations and Maintenance Worker asbestos training. + Must be 21 years of age or older. Ability to: + Demonstrate predictable, dependable, and timely attendance. + Follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned tasks on schedule. + Understand and calculate basic math. Add, subtract, multiply, divide and use a standard calculator. + Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes, and apply procedures using good judgment. + Work independently or part of a team; ability to interact appropriately with others. + Work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and/or action/discipline. Use basic computer systems and key entry data collectors. - PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: **WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMAND:** + Requires medium physical effort.
