Maintain physical building and property grounds.

· Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.

· Strip, seal and polish floors.

· Gather and empty trash.

· Wash all windows both inside and outside twice yearly.

· Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

· Steam clean or shampoo all carpeting.

· Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.

· Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, urinals, toilet bowls and other fixtures daily.

· Fill all paper dispensers etc. paper toweling, toilet paper

· Fill all soap dispensers.

· Report any damage to school property to Director of Childcare.

· Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas.

· Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare for school’s functions.

· Requisition supplies and equipment needed for building maintenance.

· To be on duty in the building when events are scheduled outside of regular school hours.

· Promote and support the environment of positive behavior support.

· Serve as a role model for students, maintaining values such as integrity, respect for self and all others, dignity, self-control and respect.

· Attend in-service training sessions, staff meetings and seminars as needed.

· Perform all other assigned duties
