High school diploma or equivalent0-5 years related experienceAbility to interpret customer needs through strong communication and listening skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Solid ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write moderately complex reports and correspondence. Good ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Solid ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities:

This position, under direct to general supervision, is responsible for a variety of duties relating to the maintenance of the manufacturing buildings and grounds.Performs routine maintenance tasks and repairs on facility systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment.  This includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting and general building upkeep. The technician will also support other facility operations and may assist with preventative maintenance programs. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, building systems, and physical structures to ensure proper operation and extend the life of equipment. Perform general tasks such as painting, carpentry, replacing fixtures, and other basic building maintenance activities. Maintain detailed records of repairs, equipment inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.  Address and resolve work order requests in a timely manner. Be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours if needed. Work with the other team members and contractors to complete larger repairs and projects.Conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
