Job Description:

We are seeking a Maintaining Traffic Foreman, responsible for setting up and maintaining temporary traffic control in an urban roadway setting, with the ability to work nights, weekends and extended hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet with Area Manager to review the scheduled projectsLead a traffic control crew to accomplish the required maintenance of traffic alignment safelySet and maintain work zones on interstate and general arterial roadwaysWork within a flexible work schedule including but not limited to nights and weekendsOversee the daily work activities performed by crewResponsible for safety of the crew and quality of workmanship

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience setting lane closures on interstates or urban arterialsHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent technical training and related experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

ODOT certified Work Zone Traffic Supervisor preferred, but not requiredMust have safety knowledgeMust have knowledge of traffic controlMust have a valid drivers license
